Stop the Closure of Dornie Hall toilets opposite the World Famous Eilean Donan Castle.

Dornie Hall committee have recently been informed that Highland Council will terminate an agreement and subsequently withdraw their funding for the public toilets attached to the hall.

The toilets are situated opposite Eilean Donan Castle on the road to Skye with easy access, especially for disabled people and used by hundreds of people on a daily basis not only in the tourist season but all year round ; coach tours, HGVs, holidaymakers and people travelling to and from work.

The impending closure of the toilets could potentially pose a public health risk and be a disaster for tourism in this area.

We are asking people to write to their Councillors or MSPs to demand that this ridiculous decision is reversed, and to sign our online petition or the petition available in local shops.

With the huge increase in both tourism and commercial traffic the council should be looking at opening more toilets not closing them.
