Our country has slowly, but surely, raised the cost of living, while our wages stay the same. This includes housing, food, gas, and more. Inflation has gone up to around approximately 8% and when the economy crashes it will go back down to 5%, which means it will still be at its highest before the inflation increase.

At Amazon, our wages have stayed the same, while other workers have gotten higher wages right off the bat simply because they come from out of state. Others are getting paid more as new hires while we continue to get paid more.

At Amazon, we work extremely hard to keep the corporation the successful company it is. We work long hours, physically exhaust ourselves, and do whatever we can to put our best foot forward.

The purpose of this petition is to encourage higher wages and wage equity amongst all Amazon workers.
