Sexual Misconduct in our high schools is a big problem because many students don't know what Sexual Misconduct is, what it looks like, or they just don't know what NO means. At an Oakland Tech walkout in honor of victims of Sexual Misconduct, more than half of almost 2,000 students raised their hands when asked "who's been sexually assaulted" or if they know of anyone who's been assaulted. If we implement a Sexual Misconduct Prevention curriculum worth 40 credits as a graduation requirement, students will be more equipped to deal with sexual misconduct and how to prevent it.
