My daughter goes up to high school in September and I can't believe the cost of school uniform. Why does everything require a school logo to be embroidered on it? Not just the basic uniform but the p.e. kit too! This just costs the parents more, rather than allowing them to purchase them cheaper from a supermarket.

With the rise in living costs how on earth do they expect parents to cope? Surely there should be some leeway. Certain jobs, that require you to have a uniform, will provide it free of charge so that you can look smart.  

There's a new law that was introduced in 2021 stating that schools should be trying to minimise the amount of branded clothing required. Why are schools not doing this?

The government need to see that it matters to parents.
