Menstruators experience a form of discrimination because they do not have access to menstrual products. Menstrual cycles are a normal part of people's lives and should not be taboo, but talked about and normalized. If toilet paper and soap are provided for free in public bathrooms, menstrual products like pads should be too. Getting these signatures would show that there is an influx of people that want and need these products placed in public bathrooms. This increase in access will help destigmatize and normalize the existence of periods.
