PD Days should stay

Our School, El Camino Real Charter High School has changed our short Professional Development days to Common Planning days. On the PD days, some Tuesdays, students would get out at 1:44, and if you had a zero period, you would get out earlier. Now, with common planning days, classes on Wednesday will start an hour later. This would seem beneficial for students gaining an hour of sleep, but the zero period students are not helped because they still have to wake up for class to begin at normal time at 7:00. They will have an unnecessary hour between zero period and first period class. Let the students have the PD days back because many zero period students would not be helped. PD days are the better option still.
