High school 45-minute Nap Time
Teenagers are extremely low on sleep! School can start from 7:00-9:00am, and homework can keep High Schoolers up as late as 3am. Lots of us only end up with 4 hours of sleep from Monday-Friday, with the additional stress of everyday life outside of academics keeping us awake at night.
With a nap time at school, even 45 minutes can make a big impact on a teenagers' sleep schedule. Just look at kindergartners! They have nap times, and they're not even at school as long as High Schoolers. And, even though society can act like High Schoolers are either as mature as adults or below them, we are still children. Our brains aren't fully developed! We are still in our youth!
We need a nap time so we can focus even more in class, or even just so we can actually look forward to something in school. We need modivation!
