Every year students look forward to having dances and spending time with others. Since covid we have had limited dances. We were made aware that the decision to not have a winter formal was made.Many students have reached out wanting a dance before prom. We look forward to these events and our schools are taking them away from us. Most of the Toms River schools also decided to change the date of homecoming which a lot of students paid to go to, and didn’t get to go due to not taking off work and other obligations.We would even be open to having an indoor winter formal with masks or a spring dance outside if need be. Students, spread the word that we want our dances back and hopefully we will receive what we are asking.
