These days showing explicit pictures and short videos of non-vegetarian food items (raw or processed meat of all types, egg yolks, etc.) by Grocery and Food delivery Apps like Big Basket, Zomato, Swiggy, etc. is very common. They depict the raw meat and other similar food items in a very awful form. While this might entice the non-vegetarian people to buy them from these Apps, these are certainly very very unpleasant and unbearable sights and videos for pure vegetarian people like me. The pictures and videos are all very distasteful and awkward at times when they are flashed all of a sudden on TV or mobile as an advertisement. E.g., whenever we open Big Basket App for ordering our weekly or monthly groceries, those very unpleasant pictures of raw meat right on their homepage is very very upsetting and unbearable. Also, while watching any video on YouTube, such unpleasant ads pop-up all of a sudden without "Skip Ad" button till they complete their content.

I request all to join me in starting this campaign to immediately stop showing such pictures on any type of media (print, electronic, social, etc.) for any purpose. As a way out, I suggest they should hide such images/videos and keep a "click here' option for the users who wish to see the images/videos. This will help pure vegetarians like us to avoid confronting or encountering such situations of these upsetting images and videos.
