Webb Park in Point Vernon is due for an upgrade! The Play equipment isn't easily accessible for kids under 2 or for kids with disabilities. Upgrading the park will benefit so many children in the Point Vernon area and bring more business to the Preston street grocery store, butcher and takeaway. I have two kids and would love to have a park that both of my kids can use and other family's in my area can be exited about going to! The pandemic has changed the way many family's have been able to parent. It's become increasingly harder in the Wide Bay region to get out to child friendly activities. Local Parks are a safe place to take your kids for much needed excersize and fresh air. I would love to see the park upgraded so that more kids can enjoy this space.
