Nov 12, 2017 — A group of local residents have arranged leaflets (see below) and are letting people know by email and leaflet.
The plan is to walk from Wheathampstead to Batford, and demonstrate that the route is not suitable. There are leaflets to hand out to pedestrians and stuck motorists.
The press have been notified and the organisers have organised large (I mean large, 60 inches by 40 inches) posters.
Wheathampstead parish council/Councillors have been notified plus the police liaison and our local MP Bim Afolami.
There will be someone here at the Common Lane roundabout also handing out leaflets, waiting for the walk to arrive.
You could even cycle (but strictly at your own risk).
Should be fun
