Chocolate bars paired with chocolate chips, the companys well known around the world. The comfort chocolates found in the grocery stores have a gut wrenching secret. When tracing back to the beginning of of the chocolate making process we find ourselves at the cocoa farm, Cote d'ivoire. Known for producing 40% of the worlds cocoa, and also using 1.56 million children to make that happen. Keeping kids out in the sun for hours on end, with dangerous weapons putting them and their health at risk.  On Nestle's website they have stated that they use child labor, they attempted to rid the farms of child labor in 2005 but failed. Now instead of trying to remove the issue they are providing education to the minors working. Although supplying education to the children is a step in the right descion it's still extremely damaging to their mental and physical health.
