Cammie Herbert started this petition to Hermosa Beach City Council & Public Works Dept

Every day since 1923 the Hermosa Beach “fire siren” rang out at noon. Originally, this siren was used to call the crew to fire duty, but in modern times it simply signaled to the South Bay that it was 12 o’clock. When the tower at Hermosa Fire Station came down in 2017, the siren came down with it and we lost a vital and fun piece of our history.

Let’s bring it back and announce to city residents , business people and visitors alike that this tradition carries on!

I need your signature to show the Public Works Dept, City Manager and City Council that the SouthBay wants this unique tradition back!

Please sign the petition and share with as many other South Bay residents as you can. THANK YOU!
