The recent tragedy in Nova Scotia has shaken Canada and her Majesty's people to the very core. An aggravated spree of unbelievable violence was enacted upon unsuspecting citizens by one uniformed like the guardians who protected them from harm; the RCMP.

To Canadians this tragedy was unprecedented, both in scope and planning. The false security victims felt being approached by a Police-Style vehicle stole what precious little chance they had of escape. We demand action! The people of Canada hereby petition the government to prohibit all commercially available Police-Style vehicles in Canada, effective immediately.

This list should include all Police-Style vehicles that have or will see service. Additionally it is paramount that all similar models be prohibited as well so as to minimize confusion and prevent loopholes. This list should begin with the model used, and be fleshed out over time following rigorous study of which models pose the greatest risk to public safety. 

We look forward to our bright future where citizens can once again feel comfortable being approached by a Police-Style vehicle on our streets.
