Paul Cox started this petition to Her Majesty’s Government and

The Good Friday Agreement was initially implemented as a way to bring about a lasting and meaningful peace between the warring factions in Northern Ireland and Ireland.

Since its inception it has been of questionable value and has recently been drawn into further disrepute with the continued pursuit for prosecutions of former soldiers who served in Norther Ireland as part of Operation Banner and this while known murderers and criminals from within Sinn Fein, the IRA, PIRA and New IRA are at liberty to conduct their lives with immunity from prosecution. Furthermore, since it’s inception, there have been numerous incidents whereby the Agreement has clearly been breached and, with the latest episodes where an innocent journalist was murdered and the even moe recent attempted murder of a serving POSNI police officer by the use of a car bomb, it should be plain to see that the Agreement is not worth the paper it is written on.

I petition Her Majesty’s Government to rescind the Good Friday Agreement, replacing it with an instrument which treats both sides equitably.
