Backyard hens bring joy to their owners, eat insects, produce healthy eggs, and provide excellent garden compost. When kept properly, like any other pet, they are clean and safe.

Current Ordiances only permit chickens on properties of 5 acres or larger, however hens kept as pets only require a few square foot of space to be healthy and happy.
