The state of South Carolina has decided to stop the federal unemployment checks early. This is going to hurt thousands of people within the state. My concern is that 1. The minimum wage for South Carolina is $7.25 an hour, if you are single or a single parent; you can't make it on that alone. 2. Elder people are struggling. 3. Allot of places that say they are hiring, that pays any decent pay doesn't say it but people over 45ish. Never get even  a chance to interview for the jobs. They apply endlessly without any success in getting hired. 4. State wide "Mom & Pops" and self employed are also struggling to keep their doors open. Some have already  had to close the doors to their businesses. The government for SBA keep advertising on the internet that they have so much money to help these businesses. However I have found that if you apply for this grant money,, it can takes months for the SBA to even send you a letter stating they either 1 they are working on it,, or 2. They need more information, or 3. You don't qualify. Their are so many people state wide that are struggling just to make their ends meet. Allot of people are in jeopardy of losing the vehicles, their homes, their land, not to mention their basic lives of being able to provide for their families.
