High School boys require an average of 2,800 calories a day, while girls need 2,200 calories a day. Average female student burns around 270 calories a an hour and in two hours 2/10 calories are already gone. Its even worse for teenage boys. School has sports and other after school activities than burn even more calories. School starts at 8:20 and some sports have practice before school. There is no time in the morning to get food for lunch unless you decide to carry a bunch of food in a lunch box. Fast food has a good amount of calories and has some food benefits depending on the restaurant ordered from. Teachers also would love the ability to have food delivered while they teach.
