The current temporary law, or proviso, states, “No school district, or any of its schools, may use any funds appropriated or authorized pursuant to this act to require that its students and/or employees wear a facemask at any of its education facilities.”
This has resulted in hundreds of students and staff COVID cases, and countless more forced to be quarantined.
Removing this law will allow our schools to enforce mask mandates and keep our children, teachers and school staff safer.
