This petition is calling for preventative measures to be placed on forest hill road in Henderson.  Why?  Forest Hill road has had numerous car crashes; near misses, minor crashes and fatal crashes.

These crashes have caused, damages to residents properties; made our neighborhood vulnerable; made our public usages unsafe; made it unsafe for our children to walk safely to and from school; death & trauma!!

By making a change and providing a safer route on Forest Hill Road this will prevent unnecessary accidents & deaths; provide a safer road for our families and their children.  It can decrease the endless callouts for emergency services, and trauma that affects not only the victims but those that witness with the carnage that is left on those neighbor's doorsteps where a tragic impact has occurred.

Personally speaking as a road user myself I would be confident to drive out of my driveway without being hesitant to do so; I could trust that one of my children were not going to be the next victim of a minor or fatal car crash; I could confidently send my kids to school knowing they will make it to school and back, and it would mean that I would have more confidence that my neighbors would be safer too!
