Stage a 17-minute walkout in solidarity with MSD in Parkland, FL. Advocate for change.

Enough is enough. We as students are exhausted of hearing of the countless shootings so far in 2018. We want to show lawmakers that we care about this issue and we want to protect more young lives from being so savagely taken. No student or staff member should fear their safety within a school. We want our voices heard, loud and clear, that we will not tolerate this any longer. We are the future, and we want to stand up for what we believe in.
On March 14 @ 10am,
Participants will stage a 17-minute walkout — one minute for each person killed in a shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, last week — at 10 a.m. to demand Congress pass legislation combating gun violence in schools.
Participants are urged to wear orange to show solidarity, precede or follow protests with an assembly discussing gun safety, and write letters to lawmakers urging them to take action.
By signing this petition you are declaring your position for protecting the lives of your fellow students, and/or your children against gun violence. Let’s make a change and have this walk-out become a reality.
