Help us stop Same from scamming others!
Thousands of women have signed up to work with Sam Paparo. According to her website, “1,527+ Women Got Their Dream Body In 90 DAYS WITHOUT Restricting The Food You Eat, Endless Workouts, or Expensive Supplements.”
This is a lie.
She lures people in with claims of solving thyroid issues and PCOS. She tells you that you will get one-on-one coaching along with meal plans and workouts. She charges you, gives you access to generic videos she made years ago, writes out meal plans that don't apply to your goals, sends you the same workouts over and over, and then doesn't respond to your emails when you need her support. When women that have been victimized by Sam asked for refunds, support, more information, a better plan- she gaslighted them. Sam has told multiple women that they were making progress and doing well on the program. The women that she told had documentation of them NOT making any progress and asked for refunds of her program. Sam then turned around to say that they had signed papers at the beginning of the program stating that there were no refunds. This is untrue as no papers are required to be signed to start with her and there is no paper that states there are no refunds. She also would state that she would make changes to the programs to help with thyroid and PCOS issues. This is also untrue because every "tier" of membership is the exact same and she makes no changes. Some women would reach out to her and ask for one-o- one guidance (which is a part of even the most basic plan) and she wouldn't respond to their emails. Then after multiple emails being sent to Sam trying to get her attention she would tell them that one-on-one guidance wasn't a part of the program they purchased...Even though it's a part of every program and is one of her main selling points. After months of ghosting her clients that have paid hundreds of dollars, 30 women within one hour collectively came together in a Facebook group recognizing that they were not alone in feeling like they were ignored, disrespected, experiencing gaslighting, and not receiving refunds or communication. There were even horror stories of how she would promise referral rates for having friends join and then change her wording so that what she once had said then shifted into them "not understanding her". After the Facebook group blew up with angry clients (also after months of not responding to them) she was quick to respond and defend herself by what? More gaslighting. There are screenshots and recordings of Sam doing all of these things.
We need to stop this kind of behavior. It is not okay to use a person's deepest insecurities to lure them into a solution that you are not trained to provide. We are working so hard to engage in body positivity, love for all shapes and sizes and this girl throws it back in your face if you don't see results even though she has no level of education to do so. Being an influencer that has followers does not make you a professional.
Unless something is done to change her actions she will continue to take advantage of women who, some, are not financially stable enough to be blowing money on "programs" that don't work. Especially when they were promised refunds that aren't happening. It's unethical and morally wrong to be doing the things that Sam has been doing to over a thousand women. She will continue to do so unless she is stopped. In an effort to save women, both current and future customers, from Sam's unethical and fraudulent company we need to stand up together. We all know how detrimental influencers like Sam Paparo can be to young women and grown women alike.
