It's been 3 years since Weymouth lost the override vote. During the Vote Yes Campaign, town citizens were able to view additional data from each Town Department. The information was very illuminating. Can we have an update on staffing and funding goals as they relate to Weymouth's needs, similar to the information found here: https://www.weymouth.ma.us/sites/weymouthma/files/u71/prop_2.5_override_presentation_20150728.pdf
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR AN OVERRIDE
The current administration, under Mayor Bob Hedlund, has done a lot to upgrade Weymouth through aggressive grant and State funding match acquisitions. I'm grateful for the improvements, and would like to do anything I can to make sure Weymouth is able to keep moving forward. I'm guessing we all would like to do the same?
In order to be educated about what the needs are, I'd like to know: Where is Weymouth with staffing/funding? We cannot help Weymouth if we don't know what's needed. Can we see some current data, please?
