recently there was a hearing in Ohio to detransition all trans teens/kids. most of the “witnesses” were unsupportive parents who are upset that their kids left home and don’t speak to them. however there was one specific testimony that is so utterly disgusting. since the mother is transphobic, she did misgender her kid, however i will be using the correct pronouns in the reciting. “ he focused in on being transgender. on being a boy, and he was really excited how everyone else was affirming him. and he- it was bizzarre.  how happy he was, that people were affirming him and cheering him on.” 

this mother thinks it’s okay to be upset at HER KID BEING HAPPY? she even hesitates while explaining that her son is happy.
