Help the Student Peace Alliance win $10,000 with the Grant for Change

Help the Student Peace Alliance win $10,000 with the Grant for Change

The Issue

Youth peace activist Julia Simon-Michel has been nominated for the Nau.Com Grant for Change and we have a chance to win $10,000 for the Student Peace Alliance.

Julia is leading an American youth movement that will transform both our country and our world. As the co-founder and National Managing Director of the Student Peace Alliance, Julia supports young people organizing direct service and advocacy efforts on 80 campuses throughout the country. Both Julia and SPA recognize that from school bullying, to gang violence, to warfare, violence is a systemic problem that in the 21st Century necessitates a bold, fresh, and comprehensive approach. Through peacebuilding service and advocacy Julia and SPA are mainstreaming peace in America and throughout the globe.

Please go to the link and vote with 5 stars to help win $10,000 for Julia's work with the Student Peace Alliance! Aaron Voldmann and Julia are working hard in D.C. but need help to get sustainable funding for their salaries and the salaries of future directors. We have a chance to make a real difference and the time for peace is NOW.
