I’m a student at Winslow high school and i’ve been treated like garbage. The bathrooms are closed, allowing only 2 people at a time. Halls must be empty and if you are out of place you will be disciplined and put into place. We have to follow a dress code, and there’s nothing wrong with that, but the females are targeted and on some accounts have been shamed and humiliated in front classmates with zero regard as to how they would feel. I have had male “administration” comment on my stockings in a sexual manner. I feel unsafe and uncomfortable in a place I shouldn’t and something needs be done. The mental health in students (especially high schoolers) matters and no child should have to experience what we have to at Winslow high school. I’m asking for a hand, to help get this school on a better page and maybe change who’s in the administration and board of education. I truly just want to have someone who cares about the students to be in charge, not someone against the students.
