Hunterwood Residents:

Our HOA President, Alex Kaplan, recently set up a well attended group call to discuss the time-sensitive issue in our neighborhood regarding the installation of a Verizon 5G tower/pole in Hunterwood. The current location approved by the City is at the corner of Thamer and Thamer Circle, right in front of Ken and Gaby Owen’s home (411 Thamer Circle). 

Me and Gaby have been fighting this in court -- we have a restraining order to temporarily stop the installation which expires after this weekend, but there is an injunction hearing scheduled for tomorrow to try and extend that much longer.  In the meantime, we have been pushing the City to create a process that includes our residents and to find an alternative location, ideally not in our neighborhood but at least in a less prominent and open location. 

We hope to have a meeting with the City setup in the very near future and that you will be able to attend when that meeting occurs as I believe this impacts all of us, particularly with other cell phone companies planning to install cell nodes/towers in Hunterscreek immediately after Verizon.  The cell nodes/towers do not work well at all with trees/leaves in the way and once installed I believe there will be efforts made to clear line of site paths between the nodes that will impact our beautiful neighborhood.

If you wish these Towers to NOT BE installed in our beautiful, heavily wooded neighborhood, or at a minimum wish to have a say in where they are placed, please help support this petition to stop the Installation of the 35ft tall Cell tower at Thamer Circle/Thamer Ln intersection.
