Hi El Sereno Community,

We are Zingo Tacos a small business on Valley Blvd. We are asking if you can help us bring The Restaurant Beverage Program (RBP) to El Sereno to help benefit all small restaurants in El Sereno. 

The Restaurant Beverage Program allows small restaurants to apply for a liquor or beer license at a fraction of the cost and time. This ordinance went into effect in the City of Los Angeles in March 2022 but is not yet available to restaurants in El Sereno. In order for this ordinance to be available to restaurants in El Sereno, the office of Kevin de Leon wants to know that businesses and the community support this. 

All small restaurants were severely impacted by the pandemic. The RBP will help bring in more revenue which will help offset the financial damages caused by the pandemic. The RBP imposes regulations on restaurants to help keep the use of alcohol under control. Also, customers will be able to enjoy a beer or liquor with their food at restaurants that currently do not have a license.
