I lost my grandfather to black lung disease. Coal miners need help once they are sick, and more importantly, to be trained in cleaner energy. No more coal!

It just is so wrong that companies expect people to work in harmful environments but don't want to ensure their health or safety. It will be a death sentence if they cant get the help they deserve.

My late father was a coal miner in West Virginia from the 40’s-early to mid 1960’s. ALL of the men from our town that had worked the coal mines, developed severe respiratory problem that were eventually identified as being Black Lung Disease....It is a hideous, life-robbing, debilitating disease that steals the lives of young men and ages them twice as fast as their non-coal mining counterparts. ALL of the men from our town died, and my late Father was the last of them to die in 2007.
