SB591 will make Virginia laws more restrictive than the Federal Law.

The Virginia monopoly system just gained a Goliath with the recent announcement of Columbia Care merging with Cresco Labs in a $2Billion deal. This merger gives Cresco Labs a 50% stake in the Virginia cannabis industry.

90% of our Hemp derived products will be illegal in Virginia if Gov. Youngkin signs this bill.

Consumer safety is a huge concern for everyone, but don't use it as a vehicle to build a monopoly. The Commonwealth of VA can see through the smoke screen and the small businesses along with the consumers impacted will have a hard time explaining to their local delegates that the black market is better for business. We will be forced into the Black Market at the hands of a Chicago based corporation.

The sales tax revenue derived from these small businesses is too large to overlook..

Certain subject matter experts did not disclose their conflict of interest while testifying to the House of Representatives for personal gains.

SB591 says "no more than 0.25mg of THC per serving or more than one milligram per package at the time such industrial hemp extract is offered for sale and is derived from industrial hemp grown, dealt, or processed in compliance with state or federal law"

Please help us stay in business by signing this petition to Governor Youngkin. He needs to veto this bill. They are pushing law abiding businesses into the black market.

All we ask is that Virginia does not become more restrictive than the federal regulations we currently operate under.
