PARAQUAT is a horrible chemical that causes cancer, other serious diseases with no cure and sadly death death in humans and animals.

The Department of Health, the Department of Agriculture and the Government of Samoa, I feel are not educating people about the extreme risks of this deadly substance!  It’s too easy to obtain and should not be obtainable at all!  

Not only our beautiful animals are dying too often by digesting this killer, but sadly many beautiful people too have used it as a suicide weapon. These lives could have been saved!  Action must be taken now!

There are a lot of much safer methods to eradicate weeds….and not hazardous to people, pets or the environment and these should be implemented immediately and DON’T WAIT ANOTHER DAY TO BAN PARAQUAT!

It would be a wonderful step for the Government of Samoa to rid the country of this killer chemical as so many other civilized countries of the world have already done. 

I now petition the Government of Samoa to ban forever the use of this toxic herbicide PARAQUAT and be proud of saving lives!
