The Historic LaMott   Community Center and Library have been closed the entire winter.  The closing is due to a Boiler issue. Other problems include mold, asbestos, and electrical wiring just to name a few.The closing of the LaMott Community Center has affected the usage of the library and the center as a whole. The summer months are fast approaching and the children who usually go to the camps offered at the center have nowhere to go. Historically, the LaMott Center has served the Community for over 100 years with its rich history. This is a very urgent matter that needs to be addressed as soon as possible. The LaMott Citizens United have Petitions circulating in the community. Those of you who have not had the opportunity to sign it, we ask that you sign the electronic one attached to this notice. We will keep the community posted of the upcoming Township meetings so you can voice your concerns .We will not stop until we get our center back!
