We are a concerned group of health care consumers in the RM of Coldwell and surrounding neighborhood bordered by Highway #6.  The loss and reduction in physician services at E M Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale has reached a critical juncture.  

Patient care has become increasingly difficult for the hard working local born nurses  in the area of Lundar, Eriksdale, Lake Manitoba Clinic and St. Laurent Manitoba.  Emergent medical and ambulatory services are at risk of failure.

The Government of Manitoba has the power to change this.  Ask them to invest in Manitobans by recruiting and retaining the health care providers we need and support the services guaranteed to every Canadian by the Canada Health Act.

If we allow the status quo of health care cuts and restructuring to continue, health care services in our Interlake community will suffer and impact our right to access timely and quality health care.
