Rules in dual credit high school construction classes say that there are no open toed shoes allowed. Crocs in fact have closed toes and plenty of rubber cushion on top and bottom! Normal shoes have a very thin layer of cloth covering the top having a lot less comfort and protection. For example, the shoe made by Adidas the NMD that is very common in teens everyday shoe wear has 1/8 of an inch of cloth covering the whole top of the foot. While the Croc has 1/2 inch of rubber having more protection and cushion if something heavy falls on them. Let’s change the way teachers feel about crocs and not have to sit out in class!
