Help us take this petition to DEPA, the managing body of the Dundowran Equestrian Park.  
The arena known as arena 1 is in dire need of resurfacing. This has been needed for years but we need your help to make it happen. 
The surface is extremely compacted which means it’s uneven making it unsuitable for most ridden activities however it is still used most weekends. 
This needs to be address before a horse and/or rider becomes seriously hurt. 
Hervey Bay Active Riders has had feedback that many people will not ride on the arena due to the surface being too dangerous for their horses which in turn prevents people from attending our dressage and hack days. 
This is a loss for the club for a reason that is beyond our control. 
Please help us get the arena resurfaced! 
Safety is our number 1 priority and this is a safety issue that CAN be fixed. 
We would like to present this evidence to the governing body of the grounds known as DEPA to assist in applying for funding/grants/fundraising or any other means of having this issue rectified. 
DEPA do an amazing job of maintaining the grounds for equestrian use and this petition is a great tool to show the support and need around having the arena repaired.
