Last week my youngest sister, was in her 8th grade math class. So one of the students said the class had a smell, so the teacher got the air freshener and sprayed it. I get it!!! But Then the same student said “spray Caliah she stink” (Caliah is my sister) and this 8th grade teacher took it upon herself and sprayed my sister with the air freshener. Air freshener goes in the air & not on human skin!!  I think this is completely wrong on the teachers part. This is degrading and this will stick with my sister for the rest of her life, being judged or bullied is not okay. Being judged or bullied by adults is definitely not okay as well!! That definitely could have went another way! My sister came home crying and in emotional distress from being embarrassed in front of the whole class!!! This is why students are harming themselves everyday because of teachers like this. New Orleans school/ school board needs to do better with resolving issues like this! We tried to hold a meeting and be reasonable with this teacher but she completely said my sister lied. She didn’t apologize for her wrong doings at all!!!  We need justice for her and i can’t stress this enough. I need you guys help to take Ms. Caldwell job away from her. The school is Paul B Habans! I don’t think she deserve to teach students at all. If this happened to anyones child this would be unacceptable! Thank you guys!
