Following the Texas elementary school  shooting in May and the Oxford, Michigan shooting in November it is important to make efforts to protect students. In 2022 alone there have been 27 school shootings in our country. It’s time we propose to place metal detectors at the doors of all schools to protect against harmful individuals bringing arms into campus.
