Hello, my name is Summer Ransome and I want you to help me accomplish my goal. I am an 8th grader doing a project where we pick a social justice issue that we want to change. My social justice issue that I've had chosen is Sexual Assault. The reason why I have chosen that topic is because I know people that have been victims and also my city Philadelphia has not have a really good case about Sexual Assault. Our transportation SEPTA is where mainly Assaults happen and nothing has been done for the victims, or done properly to end the situation. One situation was where a woman was raped for many minutes and no one did anything to it and many people recorded it and posted it on social media. Not only that made me angry but that was a wake-up call for me to do something. So this petition helps bring better security on the rides of SEPTA so these things won't happen ever again and for everyone to feel more safe and satisfied. Then after I reach my significant amount of signers I would send this to Philadelphia's Mayor Jim Kenney to help me get to my goal and make it permanent. So anything towards this petition would help me out a lot. THANK YOU!!
