21 states in the United States plan to ban abortion if Roe v. Wade is overtuned. Roe v. Wade is a landmark decision that has been protecting the reproductive rights and liberty of all women across the states since 1973. The Supreme Court has recently been discussing plans to overthrow Roe v. Wade. Abortion is healthcare and a human right that we should not be stripped of. Women should have the freedom to do what they want with their bodies and have protection from the government. To restrict abortion would be to restrict the freedom of women. 

We call upon Governor Kathy Hochul to ensure the abortion rights of women in New York are always protected, even if the Supreme Court decides to overthrow Roe v. Wade.
