Do you live in East Palo Alto? Do you want to prevent increased traffic, decrease harm to Wetlands, avoid gentrification and displacement? Sign this petition to raise awareness and prevent the development of the Ravenswood Specific Plan. Do not allow the city to build over 4 million square feet of office development which would invade the underdeveloped land that lies between quiet residential streets and and the Bay wetlands. Only the people of East Palo Alto can stop this development from tripling in size from the current development plan of roughly 1 million square feet. This plan would encompass taking over land nine times the size of the San Francisco’s Transamerica Pyramid. 

If this plan gets put into place, there will be a significant increase in traffic in the EPA area, numerous 8-story buildings located right next to the Bay wetlands, impacting the growth and development of the ecosystem, and many individuals displaced due to loss of land. It would not only impact the East Palo Alto community, but the environment as well. 

City Council is fighting to protect the land in East Palo Alto, but they cannot do it without your help. Sign this petition to show the city that you care about your community!
