Climate change is having a huge impact on Oakland, it is affecting our communities. Increase of heat, rising sea levels, and heat waves. If we were to plant a trillion trees in Oakland, California it would help the Oakland community a lot. By planting a trillion trees, especially in East Oakland it will decrease heat waves and increase of heat levels because by planting more trees it will help absorb co2 and give us better oxygen. We ask people who have the ability to create programs or internships for Oakland students to create these opportunities for us to help combat climate change.
