This petition is to make Dental and Vision covered by Medicaid mandatory, with no extra purchase of insurance plans to cover dental and vision for adults (21+).

Dental and Vision should be covered by TennCare Medicaid 100% without having to pay extra for the services or insurance. Dental problems lead to heart problems and other issues. Dental problems are not cosmetic. Cavities need to be filled to prevent heart disease and decay. Rotten teeth lead to an infection that leads to death. People should not have to suffer because of greed. People have to go to the hospital over their teeth because they cannot afford extra insurance prices or to pay a dentist and that is covered for a temporary solution (rarely) when dental should just be covered to take care of the problem instead of making people wait until they are about to die from infection and suffer from pain. Cavities and wisdom teeth should be covered completely with Medicaid because it is crucial to one's health. Vision needs to be covered completely by Medicaid because seeing is also crucial to health and living. Stephen Smith is the director of TennCare Medicaid and Bill Lee is the governor of Tennessee, they need to make some changes to help their citizens.
