1. A ground floor "bricks and mortar" museum. Also an opportunity for a shop and
sealing/glassing in the back underground car parking as additional floor space
maybe for a cafe.
2. The middle floor space to include individual spaces/rooms for each group to
display their items (Eg Clothing Museum, Heritage Society etc.) and the top
floorspace to be an inclusive collaboration space, meeting rooms, a technology
hub for research by various heritage and cultural groups from across Maitland
LGA.
3. A physical Hall of Fame walk on the Town Hall wall and activation space in the
the area between the building and Town Hall
4. Restoration of the Hazel Walsh Fountain and improvements to the streetscape at
the front of the design incorporating urban landscape design criteria.
