I am a student at a Fairfax county high school. I identify as nonbinary and am only allowed to use either a male or female bathroom/locker room. This creates very uncomfortable situations for both me and those around me when I have to say explain my gender identity. I have also had people tell me I was “going to the wrong bathroom” I want gender neutral bathrooms and lockers rooms so that I and every other student in Fairfax county feels safe and included while using a restroom or locker room. If I can get enough signs on this petition then I can ask admin to help me get this done.
