Please consider asking the HOA board not to evict my daughters and me from Villas of Carillon.  My landlord will renew my lease but the HOA will not approve it.  I have lived here for 2 years. 

As a single mother who has been dealing with one crisis after another since COVID and my divorce this will have a devastating effect on my children and bring significant hardship to our family. Here is the basis for my appeal to you all.

We live doors down from my sister and her family. They have been instrumental in helping me work two jobs and caring for my kids in my absence when at work. Having ongoing support from a family my children love allows me to earn additional money and provides daily support to my kids.

My uncle is now living with me and is an ideal candidate for the community. He has a perfect credit score and no criminal history. He was initially only going to stay for a few weeks. But he stayed and I did not submit to the HOA. 

The last few years have been beyond challenging for my girls. I’m not sure I have the right words to explain what they have overcome.  The bottom line is they are incredibly happy here and will be devastated to leave.

I have owned two homes before living here and understand the responsibility of being a homeowner. Still, after my business collapsed during Covid (I work in school fundraising), I have been rebuilding my business and life with a specific goal to keep my children in this great community near my family.

We have always tried to be considerate, good neighbors; we love living here, and it is heartbreaking to find out that feeling was not mutual.

I sincerely ask you to please take a moment to consider signing this petition; the impact of us having to leave is beyond measure.
