Delta Clouds started this petition to City of Milton Council

In 2018 the Farm Bill Agricultural Act was put into effect. This made it so we can fully utilize the benefits of the Cannabis Sativa L (Hemp) Plant on a federal level. These said products have multiple uses such as anti-anxiety, sleep, and anti-inflammation. There are certain city municipalities which look to ban the usage of these hemp derived products, namely the Delta-8/Delta-10 THC cannabinoids. These cannabinoids are found naturally occurring, though in small amounts in the hemp plant. The city of Milton is attempting to use year old ordinances (refer to Sec. 32.114 line 1, subsection a-c) targeting synthetic products, to ban our naturally derived hemp products. This could lead to an all out ban in all cannabis products. Doing so would cripple many small businesses and effect those to who it matters most. We are against the use of these synthetic products and don't want our business associated with the like. Our great state of Georgia has no laws banning the use or sale of these hemp-derived products. This is with the exception of Forsyth county. Our goal with this petition is to approach the city of Milton and show that We The People find benefits in the usage of these hemp products. Fulton County continues to be the most lenient and progressive when it comes to hemp and hemp derived products, however a ban in Milton could cause a domino effect throughout the county. This must be cut off at the root, and we need your help!
