Once again, the big shots that rule New York City have found their next target.
This time, the victim is a 64 year old man who has been working day and night for the last 24 years running his Newsstand at Astor Place which is much beloved by occupants of the neighborhood and tourists alike. Out of nowhere, the City of New York has declared war on Jerry Delakas. City authorities claim that Jerry's license is no longer valid, and they are unwilling to renew it. Jerry's American dream is about to be extinguished.
What future does he face if he were to lose his Newsstand? What will happen to him? Please join the fight to help Jerry and save his Newsstand. Your urgent action is required because his days are numbered…
I realize that I am considerably young; being 14 years old in the moment, but I still feel I have the ability to create an impact on this mans life... With your help we can save Jerry.
This is not only a matter of survival, it is a matter of principle!
