Garibaldi Park has a large, beautiful, and grassy field that is barely used. Most of the time this park is only used during the summertime only and even then, there is still half the park available. Dogs are not allowed off leash here and it is a very dog friendly area in this community. Dogs need to be able to run and have their exercise and they cannot do that because there is a playground berry with children and the road close by. This park is large enough that even a quarter of it can be turned into a dog park for our furry animals. 10 months out of the year, this park isn't used, and dogs would be happy to run around in this park, rain, or shine. Please help me get to 150 signatures so that I can send it to the North Vancouver Park Board so that we can give our furry friends the joy to run around in peace!
