Why should kids start going outside? Well here we will tell you why the kids should go outside. This situation matters to me because we need kids to step into the outside world to play sports and enjoy the weather. If kids decide to not go they will be bored and tired and lazy around their house. In Maspeth there is a major issue with recreational centers. This means that there are a lack of places that are safe for the youth. Some people might argue that kids won't go outside and tend to make dangerous choices. However our community can change that by making kids go outside. 

I propose that kids in Maspeth get active and have fun, so the New York City Division of Youth and Community department to start making changes in our neighborhood. The kids have to go outside and learn to play new things or sports and do physical activities. " However benefits of sports complexes not only help the body, but they also create a less stressed mind. Stress greatly affects the community at large, and studies conducted in both the United States and Australia have found that people who participate in recreational activities are more resilient to stress and experience better mental health. Another evidence that i have used is " However a vibrant community recreation center can have a stabilizing effect on the lives of young people. By providing safe and adequately equipped spaces for physical activities like dance, martial arts, yoga, basketball, and other sports, community centers instill discipline, healthy exercise habits, and teamwork. Community centers create the perfect setting for local mentorship programs, providing guidance and leadership development for the youth of the community.  So please would you. sign this petition and make recreational centers in Maspeth so kids can have fun and enjoy themselves.
