BTS is one of today's top K-pop groups, and is arguably the most popular K-pop group internationally, especially in the United States. With 8M Twitter followers, they are the second most followed K-Pop act on Twitter behind G-Dragon. However, judging by their rate of new followers, they are sure to take the top spot within the next month.

This 7-member South Korean boy group debuted in June of 2013 from BigHit Entertainment. What was then a small company, now competes with what are considered The Big 3 of South Korean Entertainment companies (YG, SM, and JYP). BTS are widely believed to be largely responsible for the growth of BigHit. In just the past couple of years, BTS has set many records within the K-Pop industry and continue to do so. Most recently, they became the first K-Pop group to win a Billboard Music Award, the second to win a Teen Choice Award, and are the first K-Pop group to surpass 1M preorders for their next album (which has yet to be released).

Thanks to their attendance at the BBMAs, BTS have gained a lot media attention and connected with many popular western artists such as Halsey, The Chainsmokers, Steve Aoki, Diplo, Charli XCX, and Ansel Elgort. After the BBMAs win, BTS fans, affectionately known as A.R.M.Y (Adorable Representative MC's for Youth) have created new goals that we hope to achieve with BTS's next comeback on September 18, 2017.

One of these goals is to get BTS onto the Billboard HOT 100 chart. In order to do this, radio airplay is extremely important. Therefore, many A.R.M.Ys all over the US have been requesting BTS songs to their local radio stations, but in order to make a larger impact, we have to aim higher. Given the media storm following BTS's BBMAs win, A.R.M.Y believes BTS is worthy of national radio airtime. Through this petition, A.R.M.Y is asking for BTS's songs to be added to a national radio program's regular rotation. With this as our goal, we are targeting radio stations across the US, and will personally send this to each individual station. Please sign this petition to spread the joy of BTS's music farther and wider and to get them onto US Billboard Hot 100.
